Why Should I?
Short amounts of time and large amounts of stress are very often interlinked. Unfortunately, in the business world there never seems to be time for anything to be done at a leisurely pace. Fight stress and get ahead by making the best use of your time.
Tips to manage time
A) Use a task list to prioritise- Give the free Business Bird list a go: These can be great for getting on top of those day to day activities.
B) Split up your activities into steps- It’s nice to feel that you are making some progress throughout the day to keep motivated. It is worth writing a little for each task as you may have to come back to it when your mind has been elsewhere. Tick each off as they are completed.
C) Outlook is your friend- Follow these tips and you will be flying through those e-mails in no time!
D) Make sure you understand what has to be done- Never be afraid to ask questions.
E) Set yourself time goals- Give yourself a challenge and keep motivated.
F) Concentrate- Try to focus on the task at hand, this should speed things up so you can get back to something more entertaining.
G) Take breaks and drink water- Ensure your brain is working to its best potential.
H) Consider when you work the best- Do you work better in the morning or late into the night?
I) Try and have fun- Life is too short to take it all seriously. Make time to have fun and get things done!
